This story doesn't require an introduction because there isn't much to talk about. It's an experiment I decided to test upon myself to see how fast I can write without backspacing and seeing if it makes any sense; some would call it rambling in writing form, like a diary of a mad man, but I like to call it freestyle writing. Much like freestyle rapping, I still need a lot of practice.
This
is a story where I cannot backspace at all. All mistakes are mine and mine
alone, just like with time. We can not rewind time, not can we fastforeward is
(it). All we can do is control is by taveling at near speeds of light, or slow
it down through the use of psychedelics. I’m attempted to write as fast as I
can before my food is done, I’ve been pretty busy today, well this week.
Moving, adjusting, and then settling in, these take time to foster, but once
you have the write mindset you can do anything! (Well unless you want to fly,
breath in space, breath underwater, touch a hot surface, change your physical appearance
drastically, go through a wormhole [idea pending], have saex with anyone you
want, or anything that requires altering the laws of the universe) So lets
change it to anything within reason.
My
prompt today was to write a purposely bad story and make it good, which is
really hard. So I decided to write a story that is just bad and unstructured
and then if you don’t like it I can just play it off as “art” or a “social
statement” (about? I don’t know, it’s art so it’ll change with time. First same
sex marriage, then it will be cyborg upgrades, and then this will be about
human-robot relationships).
AS
you can tell this isn’t really a story, as for I cannot think of anything worth
telling today. Instead I’ll share you a bit of my life today: woke up, ate
ceral, took a shower, chugged a cup of coffee, drove to work while listening to
the Nerdist Podcast – great podcast by the way- worked, got stuck on a problem
at work, ate subway, took a powernap while on tmy break, went back to the
problem, solved it by salvaging old books my job has, left work, called my mom,
worked out, and now I’m writing this.
Yep
that’s about it. I will be working on an other story all day tomorrow (when I
have a chance that is) a continuation of The Navigator. This is a project I’ve
been wanting to work on for a while, but it wasn’t until Sean an dI got
together that we found some good substance in it. I am really excited! Our
first major collaborative story series since we first began writing many many
years ago.
Well
time to sign off, my food is almost done and I need to eat! See you all Friday
when we return to our special series.
